 February 10, 2004 POGO Supports OMB Request for F/A-22 and Comanche Program Studies |

The President's Office of Management and Budget has requested formal studies of the Air Force's F/A-22 tactical fighter and the Army's Comanche helicopter with an apparent eye toward cutting back or eliminating the costly weapons, according to published reports in the Atlanta Constitution and Baltimore Sun. (Click here to see the original OMB document.) POGO applauded Director Bolten's overview study of the two programs, and pledged in a letter today to assist in any way.
