 Mailing List Policies:
Any email submitted to POGO will not be released to any third party. We use them only for the purpose for which they were submitted. Should you decide at any time you wish to remove your email address from any list, simply unsubscribe by the same form which you used to subscribed. Web Site Policies:
- Privacy - The Project On Government Oversight will not use any submitted email addresses, mailing addresses, names, or identifying information other than for the purpose for which they were was submitted. Submitted information will never be shared with a third party or disclosed in any manner.
- Cookies - POGO's website only uses cookies on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. Should you choose to allow cookies, know that they are loaded as a series of random numbers which will make them difficult to trace if found on your computer. We do this to support your anonymity.
- Site Statistics - POGO's website collects no site statistics that identify the user of our site. We do track which of our sites pages are most frequently visited, what times of day the site is most active, and the submitted data from our voluntary polls.
- Subscribing and Unsubscribing - You may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time from any list. To do so simply go to the list you subscribed and re-enter your email address, check the unsubscribe button, and select the "send" button. You will not receive notification that you have been unsubscribed. If for some reason you continue to receive subscriptions, contact pogo@pogo.org.
- Linking to our site - You may link directly to our site. However you must do so in a way that identifies our site as a Project On Government Oversight page. You may not use our pages in a frame, sole or inpart, that gives the impression any page or portion of a page is your creation. All pages are copyrighted and must not be modified or altered in any way. If you have any questions about this, do not hesitate to contact us.
- Polling - The polls on our site are only to be used once by any specific person. The polls are not scientific and are used only to present the level of interest and preference around a given topic. Polling results may not be used in reference to Project On Government Oversight's position on a topic.
